Anzac Day 2016 Memorial Services

Anzac Day provides our community with a day to commemorate the sacrifices
of Australians who have contributed to our country’s war and peace-keeping

Just over a century ago, on the 25th of April 1915, in the darkness before dawn, the
ANZACs stormed ashore what is now known as Anzac Cove. It was a turning point
in our nation’s history and a defining moment in the foundation of the modern
Australian spirit.

This Anzac Day I encourage you to attend a local Anzac service and commemorate
those from our community and across the country who have served our nation in
wartime and peace-keeping missions.

I hope to see you at one of the Anzac Day memorial services that are set out below.
